Dr. Abdullahi Gadan-Kaya Apologizes For Allegation Of Same-sex Marriage In Bauchi
A prominent Islamic scholar in Kano state, Dr. Abdallah Gadon-Kaya has thrown his weight behind his allegations that a group of same-sex couples, homosexuals and polygamists have gathered in Bauchi state to listen to their verses in the past few days.
The teacher came out and retracted his words and gave patience to the community especially Muslims for his statement.
Gadon-Kaya said, based on the in-depth investigation by the Bauchi state government and the security agencies, it has been confirmed that the story he gave is a lie.
If it will be remembered that the teacher once announced to the world that a man called and confirmed to him that same-sex, gay and polygamous marriages are taking place in a hotel in Bauchi state. The teacher even said that he has proof of the name of the hotel and can provide it if requested.
However, after the Bauchi state government through the Shari'a Commission asked the teacher to come and present his evidence and where the incident happened, he retracted his statement.
That is why the teacher came out in a video that lasted for more than five minutes and gave the governor of Bauchi state, Bala Muhammad and the government officials and security agencies patience for the information he released that has aroused the public's attention. .
He said: "A few weeks ago, there was a statement I made on a story that a servant of God told me about the occurrence of a same-sex marriage event in Bauchi state. I said that he called me and explained to me that what is happening should be preached and be investigated.
"Well, we said this and the word spread and we asked the authorities to investigate and take action. The authorities have investigated, the security forces have investigated that this same-sex marriage does not exist and was not performed in Bauchi state."
He said that they are thankful to God that this did not happen, because according to him, that is also a good thing because the disaster did not happen.
He commended the efforts of the security forces and the Bauchi state government to investigate thoroughly and confirm that there was no incident of this story at all
He pointed out that, as a result of his words, the lives of thousands of people have suffered, especially those who are jealous of Islam wherever they are.
"Therefore, we are using this opportunity since the investigation has confirmed that this thing was not done, we offer patience to everyone who is affected by this thing starting from the honorable governor as a father and leader in this state and others his family and those close to him, the security forces and the rest of the community as a whole.
"Let us all be patient. Because of this claim, sometimes something can be said, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't happen, so we don't hope for it to happen. May God give patience to all of us, may God make us fit.
"Allah is the witness that we did not do this because of insulting or defaming someone or insulting someone, there is absolutely no such thing with us. By God, it is nationalism. I am a Bauchi citizen, a legitimate Bauchi citizen. I can give everything I own and my life to protect this state of mine, to help religion and to help Da'wah."
