 Muslims and Christians must unite and support the Palestinians - Fani-Kayode

The former Minister of Civil Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has said that Muslims and Christians alike must join forces to support the Palestinians.

He disclosed this at the Aksa Day meeting with Muslim Awareness International (MAI) which took place at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.

Other speakers at the event included the director of MURIC, Professor Lakin Akintola and Sheikh Sheikh Dhikrullahi Shafi'i.

Fani-Kayode has been criticizing Israel for the genocide he says it is doing to the Palestinians, and added that Nigerian Muslims and Christians must support the Palestinians in Israel's attempt to occupy the Gaza Strip.

According to him, "men, women and children were killed. Muslims and Christians were killed, Mosques and Churches were destroyed. They are trying to destroy everything," as we read from Daily Trust newspaper.
