 Tinubu is recovering the money that was stolen in previous administrations - King of Minna

The Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago said that President Bola Tinubu has done his best to recover the money stolen in previous administrations, but Nigerians do not understand.

The Emir stated this at a meeting to sensitize citizens on the support of the Federal Government in the states of the country, which was organized by the office of the Minister of Information and Public Outreach in Minna, Niger State.

The Emir represented by Hadinin Minna, Alhaji Maukudi Achaza, said that Tinubu is doing his best to solve the problem of corruption in the past.

He said that most of the citizens do not know about the support provided by the Tinubu government because the spokespersons of the government do not disseminate the activities properly especially in speaking the language that the people hear.

"Many sums of money were stolen in previous governments, which the current government is trying to recover, but many people do not understand. And since the withdrawal of fuel subsidies, many things have been done to reduce the pain suffered by the citizens. It is good for the government to inform people about its programs in the language they understand," he said as reported by the Daily Trust newspaper.
