Cholera outbreak claims at least 27 lives in Cameroon

A cholera outbreak has broken out in two hospitals in the northern Cameroonian city of Maroua. The latest figures released by authorities show that 27 people have been infected.

It has also killed a 5-year-old boy.

The cholera outbreak comes after the country was hit by flooding last month that has killed 40 people.
