 ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu 'disappointing' - Biden

US President Joe Biden has called the International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu 'disappointing'.

The ICC said it had issued a warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of war crimes in Gaza.

Israeli politicians have already reacted to the ruling, including former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who said the warrant was ''built on lies''.

''This is ridiculous, we will respond, we will not stand by and be harmed'', said Mr Bennett.

The ICC warrant gives member states the right to arrest and detain Mr Netanyahu if he enters their countries.
