 A power outage has forced the closure of London's main airport

 West London's Heathrow - Europe's busiest airport - has been closed due to a fire near the airport's electrical hub.

 The airport will be closed until 12:00 midnight this Friday due to the electrical problem.

 The BBC correspondent said that there is no information on when the electricity can be restored at Heathrow and the airport has no choice but to take measures to close it for the safety of passengers and its staff.

 Last year, 83 million passengers passed through Heathrow Airport.
