 Israel says it will occupy parts of Gaza

 Israel's defense minister threatened to temporarily occupy parts of Gaza if Hamas does not release the remaining Israelis it is holding.

 Isreal Katz said that he ordered the army to recover more areas and evict the people there.

 He said that the longer Hamas spends without releasing those who are being held, the more territories will be added to Israel.

 While Israel continues to be under fire, the World Council said that this is the longest period since the start of the war in 2023 that it has refused to allow the entry of support materials into the region.
