 Israel's cabinet voted to fire the head of the Internal Security Agency

 Israel's parliament has voted to impeach the head of the Shin Bet internal security agency.

 The decision will further anger the citizens who have been protesting for three days against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to fire the head of the intelligence agency Ronen Bar.

 The two men have been at loggerheads since the attack by Hamas in October 2023, accusing each other of failure.

 There is an investigation conducted by the Shin Bet on claims that some former prime ministers have been asking for favors on behalf of the country of Qatar.
