Golden, emerald, diamond & crown birthday TikTok trend explained

emerald birthday TIKTOK has a new viral trend that its followers are loving: birthdays with golden, emerald, diamond, and crown.

The new fad adds another incentive to look forward to their special day, but how does it work?

What is the birthday TikTok trend featuring gold, emerald, diamond, and crown?
While many people are aware of their astrological sign and birthstone, many are unaware that there are other ways to celebrate our birthdays based on the day they fall on.

Golden birthday.

A golden birthday occurs when the age you are turning coincides with the day of your birth.

So, if you are turning 20 and your birthday falls on the 20th of the month, you will celebrate your golden birthday.

Emerald Birthday

When your birth month and turning age coincide, you have an emerald birthday.
So, if you were born in October, your emerald birthday would be the 10th.

Being just 12 months old, an emerald birthday can only be celebrated until the age of 12, therefore current TikTokers must be over the age of 12.

Diamond birthday.

A diamond birthday occurs when the last two numbers of the year you were born correspond to the age you are turning.

Your diamond birthday, for example, would be turning 86 years old if you were born in 1986.

Crown birthday.

When the two last numbers of the year and day you were born match the age you're turning, you have a crown birthday.

So, if your birthday is October 21, 2021, your crown birthday falls on your already momentous 21st birthday.

Other birthday trends:

Tiktok has a new viral trend called the "Hear me Out" challenge.

The new TikTok style has many people wondering what it is and how they may become involved.

TikTok's "hear me out" cake trend is a popular video that users are imitating.

"Hear me out," often known as the "smash cake challenge," requires participants to choose who they want to smash or pass on from a list of superstars.

The challenge allows players to reveal their wildest secret celebrity obsession to the world, no matter how strange or absurd it may sound.

Instead of candles, people would pin cutout photos of celebrity faces to a cake to represent their crush as a sort of birthday wish.

The hear me out challenge is a fun game for adults to play on their birthday.

Many TikTok creators exploit the challenge to increase engagement with their followers, who can't help but reply with agreement, and sometimes repulsion, to the creators' crush confessions.

Other popular TikTok challenges include the "Just Give Me My Money" fad.

This is a hoax in which individuals shout the phrase "just give me my money" in a hilarious voice before cheering and applauding, except for one person who is purposefully left out.

Then there's the "Who Wants to Smoke" challenge, which prompted school officials to issue warnings owing to allegations that it advocated gun violence.

The hear me out challenge is innocent fun, however other TikTok challenges have been called out for potentially endangering young children.
