Swift and Kelce confirmed their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, August 226.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first public appearance together as an engaged couple, and she's already beginning her bridal era.
On Thursday, Aug. 28, the pop megastar was spotted with her fiancé at the college football game between the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Kelce, 35, played for the Bearcats while attending the University of Cincinnati.
Swift, 35, smiled as she entered the stadium, dressed in a white sweater vest, a light-wash pleated denim mini skirt, and knee-high, off-white boots. Kelce wore a red and white polo shirt with a distinctive Bearcats cap. Patrick Mahomes, a Kansas City Chiefs teammate, and Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, were also seen at the game with the couple.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Tuesday, August 26, with a joint Instagram post featuring photos from their floral-filled garden proposal.
"Your English and gym teachers are getting married 🧨," the "Cruel Summer" singer captioned the post.
Kelce proposed with the ring Swift is wearing in the photo—an old mine brilliant cut—which he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
Kelce proposes to Swift on bended knee in the first photo of their carousel, while she lovingly rests one hand on his face. The other photos show the couple embracing and sitting on a bench beneath the pink and white floral trellis.
Swift made her New Heights podcast debut earlier this month, not only announcing her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, with the help of her now-fiancé and his brother, Jason, but also discussing her relationship with Kelce, implying that they live together.
"I knew he wasn't crazy the first few times we talked," she explained. "I was like, he's really getting to know me in a natural, pure, and normal way."
Swift also mentioned how Kelce could make her "laugh so quickly, about normal things."
The "So High School" artist also described him as a "vibe booster in everyone's life that he's in."
