Bright Morgan, the ex-girlfriend of reality TV star Bright Chigozie Mbata, has finally spoken out after being talked about in his post-show interviews for weeks.

After the reality star said that his ex-girlfriend had asked for him to be kicked off the show while he was on it, this happened. She said on her Instagram stories that Bright had "opened a can of worms" by talking about her name all the time while he was on the media circuit.


In August, the couple broke up.

She says that they broke up for good on August 7, 2025, and she just recently asked him to take her name off of a tattoo on his wrist.

As she left, she also told his parents, brothers, and close friends to make sure there was no confusion.


Claims of being financially dependent
She said that Bright asked her for money seven days into their relationship because he didn't have enough for food or groceries.

She said that she had been there for him the whole time they were together and that her love for him was real.


Signs of bigger problems
She said that the story was "a lot deeper" than most people think, and she said that she felt compelled to speak out because Bright reportedly lied about her in a recent interview. She promised to deal with the problem correctly and in detail.

She wrote, "Absolutely loving someone deeply and honestly is not a crime." Absolutely! After Bright Morgan made me think he was real, I'm not ashamed or afraid to say that I loved him sincerely.
