Find out how Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu opened up about handling personal photos and fame during their Charlie’s Angels reunion chat. Drew Barrymore is on an adventure to find the lost nude photos of Lucy Liu that she shot of her on the set of Charlie's Angels.
The actress interviewed Liu, whom she referred to as her "heart" and "Charlie's Angel sister" on her talk show today and promptly mentioned her relentless search for the sexy photos.
Do you know what I really was looking for? "And of course I'm going mad scramble and it's definitely gonna be found," Barrymore said. In the dressing room, I was looking for the nude pictures you took of me on the set of Charlie's.
As it turns out, Liu was the ideal person to ask. "I have them. I do! Of course. "And you're beautiful, because you are still beautiful, and you're so natural and you're so fun, and you're having fun," Liu said. She then explained, "I have a series of stills of so many people, guys, with and without their clothes on."
On Tuesday's episode, the two discussed their Charlie's bond - they played Charlie's Angels in 2000 and its sequel Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle in 2003. During Liu's Behind the Scenes segment, Barrymore remembered Liu and Crispin Glover were both "so dedicated" to the strenuous training necessary for the intense spy films, while she and Cameron Diaz were "so naughty sometimes." Liu jokingly interrupted, "What?" [Diaz] was so good. "I was not," she says. Barrymore did find a few of the nude self-portraits, however, and one of them had the host turn her butt to the camera with Diaz and Liu posing beside her. "How cute," Liu remarked. "Just hamming it up."
Barrymore dreamily asked: "Can we be like that until we go on to whatever's out there after this?"
"There's no other option," Liu answered. There is no other option - to enjoy and have fun. Our kids, our lives, ourselves. "If anything, this whole thing with the pandemic has taught me -- or me -- how we have to appreciate each and every moment." We just do. And I do."
