One controversial Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has elicited internet discussions after she publicly admitted to introducing her teenage daughter, Simisola, to clubbing and alcohol when she was 17 years old in an interview with content developer, Mr Lilgaga. She said that she wanted her daughter to have a story to refer to whenever she remembered her first encounter with nightlife.
First time was when I was 17 and I took my daughter to the club. And I love that in her memoir she would mention me as the one who introduced her to alcohol and clubbing, as opposed to having her discover it herself or being influenced by her peers, she said.
At least she would say it was my mother who first taught me these things, she added.

The naked revelation by the birthday girl in one of the viral videos of the party has raised mixed emotions with many questioning why she parented her child the way she did and why she took her child to night out at such a tender age.
