MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - His lawyer says that Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty is no longer in federal prison.
Williams, who goes by the name Pooh Shiesty, was given a prison term of five years and three months in April 2022 by a federal court in Miami.
The Associated Press says Williams pleaded guilty to drug and gun charges as part of a deal that got rid of three other charges.
Wilson Williams' lawyer, Bradford Cohen, says that Williams got out of jail on Monday because he had served his time and been good. Cohen is always glad to see one of his clients get out of jail, and Lontrell can't wait to get back to the studio and make music again.
