Mixed reactions as lady marries her university lecturer (Video)

After getting married to a former university lecturer, a lady in Nigeria is the focus of the entire online community. The beauty and controversiality of the love story have generated heated debates on social media platforms.

In the viral video that went online, which she captioned, "You fell in love with your lecturer," the lady was seen kneeling in adoration before her husband as they were having their Yoruba traditional wedding ceremony, a typical event during traditional weddings in Yoruba land. Nonetheless, it was the facial expression of the lecturer that people focused on.

The groom looked quite rigid and unemotional, so many netizens wondered whether he was made to attend the wedding. The bride was also very happy and she was singing merrily in front of her man, but the groom was completely uninterested.

Someone wrote, Be like this Lecturer go Discipline you when una reach house o.

The video became popular on social media in a very short period of time, and thousands of users have posted their ideas. Other commentators praised the couple and said love can sprout anywhere, even in the classroom. But some other people criticized the union, and questioned, both the morality of the relationship between students and lecturers, and also the expression of the man. Aunty you force am marry you?"

Somebody once said, Daddy why are you sad? Dem force you marry?"

In spite of the snickers, the bride looked deeply happy, with her whole heart as she performed the traditional rites with grace and enthusiasm. The couple donned colorful Yoruba clothes and this evoked interesting remarks with netizens congratulating and applauding them.

Said an admirer, That is beautiful. Congratulations to them"

Somebody remarked, That hard face is to keep him cold. He is keeping him to himself as the fierce lecturer that we all know.

Somebody replied, trust me, this man is lying because they are outside.
