Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky has made headlines again on the internet after his latest experience with a waiter at a restaurant in a foreign country.
Controversial crossdresser, who has been living out of the country since getting out of prison, shared a brief video on TikTok of him eating at a restaurant purportedly in the United Kingdom.
Islamic belief states that Muslims are not allowed to consume pork. In Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 173, Allah writes:
He has forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that which was given to other than Allah.
Bobrisky was spotted ordering his food in the viral video, which he has shared on his official Instagram profile with nearly 5m fans, specifying to the waiter that he does not eat bacon (pork) or mushrooms due to his Muslim beliefs. Instead he chose fish. I do not eat it said he as he made his order.
Expectedly, the video has since elicited much response on social media, with users arguing about his words and his way of life. It has also rekindled debates on faith and beliefs.One user wrote, I am a Muslim, Ohhh now Islam works when it is bacon, but it does not work when it is the lifestyle? Interesting! You see, Bob, Jahannam is cool to a path you have chosen"
A second replied, "It is worse still to be gay than all these things he is denouncing.
Someone remarked, this is a great disrespect to the Muslims. Which is worse ? A fellow that speaks his appearance and his form like that he was a lady or one that eats mushrooms ? You can also smoke it Bobrisky but you are not in the mood to eat it.
