Police in Kano have arrested a youth who allegedly Remove A 13 Year old Boy

The Kano State Police Command has arrested 17-year-old Isah Hassan, a resident of Dantsinke Rimin Hamza line in Tarauni Local Government Area, for allegedly removing the eyes of a 12-year-old student, Mustapha Yunusa.

A spokesman for the force, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, in a statement issued on Wednesday night, said the boy was arrested on Tuesday with the help of local police.

He said it was on March 20 that they received a complaint that an unidentified man had blindfolded the student.

According to Kiyawa, the Commissioner of Police, Samuel Shu'aibu Dikko, ordered Puff Adder's forces to find the culprit.

He added that after a lengthy investigation, the team was able to apprehend Hassan, who pleaded guilty to being an elderly woman who said he had found a human eye by attaching a tattoo.

According to the suspect, he got to know his 16-year-old friend, Sani Abdulrahman, that he wanted to be stitched, and he took him to his grandmother, Furera Abubakar to tie the strings for him.

Hassan said that when he found her, Furera said he found a human eye as a chemical that would bind him to a piece of string.  he rolled his right eye.

He added that after he brought her the eyes, it was Furera who said she would have to pay N500 for the work she was going to do, and Hassan said he did not have N500 but would bring it to her if he got it, where she and her ex-wife  said to go and keep his eyes open.

They were eventually arrested, and Kiyawa said they would be taken to court once the investigation was completed.
