The Secret Behine Why I Can Act In Every Role  in a Movie, Says Rabiu Rikadawa (Baba Dan Audu)

Rabiu Rikadawa is a renowned Hausa actor who was seen yesterday and today, but is now better known as Baba dan Audu.  In an interview with Blueink News Hausa, Daily Trust, the actor described the state of development in the film and others.

In the past you were known as Dila, and now Baba Dan Audu is better known, can you tell us how you got the name Dila?

As Baba Dan Audu was found so was Dila.  They are both names derived from the movie, that is, the hour I played in the movie.  Like Dila during NTA Kaduna, at that time there were not many stations.

When I was working with DITV, it was the only time the channel made the drama.  At that time I was the director, I was the director and I was the storyteller, and I was the main character.

The name of the program ‘All night long’ is shown every Sunday and 8 p.m.  So when the NTA did not make a drama, it became a challenge for her, where she created a comedy drama.  When they said they wanted something like Tom and Jerry.  An old man, Dan Asabe Abdullahi Kayar Bushiya, was found, and I was a young man.

Moda and I sat down and took it out on Saturday

the system, we designed the article.  Here we sat down and agreed to make the first issue as an introduction, since it was a new drama, and we introduced ourselves to everyone.  That's what happened.

After that it was said that I would be the one to act as Dila, Dan Asabe Abdullahi a

 Kurungu, Moda as Alhaji, then

I said I would not come out as a dealer.

I said the problem is I am working with DITV, I am presenting programs including drama, when will I release this and go to another drama?  And do not

 to make their work absent.

So we got rid of them, when there was no phone.  I went home and two of their producers, George Agbese and the late Kasimu Muhammad, came home and found me.  can be lifted until I have time.  Hear how I got the name Dila.

In Dila, wherever you go, you win, but Baba Dan Audu intervenes until he is taken prisoner?

It is two different dances in different programs.  How can a Dealer be caught?  Do you know the dealer?  The dealer could not be reached for comment.  No author would be willing to write to say that Dila has been eliminated, it is not possible.  Even a hunter I do not think anyone has ever caught a Dila.

In my story it is a different dance.  It was the Dealer who kept me from getting involved even here.

This is your favorite program among those you have done?

As a hero I do not have a favorite.  Film is not your life, it is someone else's life that you can ride and sit to deliver a message.  If you do not perform the service correctly, you will not be able to send the message.

For example, suppose I came out as an old hero like Malam Musa Abdullahi, and I was seen acting like an old man like Balarabe Jaji.  Therefore, the hero should be able to play any role well.  Except what people want.  Some people want to see her as a bully in a movie if you come out as a patient.

Another wants to see you as a tyrant, another as a teacher.  He just wants the hero to be able to understand what he is going to do, do and try to bring out what is needed.

You saw yesterday and today.  How did you change your lifestyle?

No matter how many movies there are, every hero who can go to any kind of movie can do anything.  We don't have a drama yet, even if you are taken to the Bollywood Bollywood industry, if you are a hero, then you can play her role.

appropriate and deliver the message.  All you need to do is give them an outlet and the support they need to keep going.  Except in the past

they are usually government messages that attract public attention, and now the focus is on what people are going to receive.

In my story you come out as a money lover.  Some would say that Baba Dan Audu is really a money lover?

Baba Dan Audu is a man who spent many years in Saudi Arabia, returning to the country unprepared.  He was just a man deported from Saudi Arabia, with no money and no expectations.  His heart was not in the country he returned to, it was in the country he left behind.

He wondered how he could return because living was not enough for him.  So, he would only resort to this as a last resort.  You see, he has no job at all, and his wife, who has been there a long time, gives him a tired job.

And the person who has lived in Saudi Arabia for almost 20 or 30 years is accustomed to eating chicken and milk and so on, and now he is back in Nigeria with two slices of soup until it is too late.  You see, he would not have been able to find peace if he had not been able to find peace of mind as if he were there.

Youtube is back now.  How would you describe its acceptance mode?

Youtube has begun to revive the film.  Life is changing.  From here to there.  When it was transferred from VHS to CD, it was very difficult.

It was as if the factory was about to collapse.  Also on CD, life has changed so far that it is back online.  Here too it seems to be falling apart, but now it too is beginning to be understood.  There are now many celebrities on Youtube who do not have a single movie on CD.  And they are well known.  The world is constantly moving.

Do you have a call for emerging heroes?

Some of us at least know the government, the teachers and so on.  Our directors and producers are all experts.  And they are training us to further our education.  But kids are now usually more likely to follow glitter.

We are on a journey to get the CD back to the business community, one is going to sell the farm, another is going to be an entrepreneur and he is going to make a movie.  You see, he who bears the burden, knows nothing but profit.

So we left that trip.  But let's watch an Indian movie.  If you go and watch a movie, you are the one who will come out as the one.  You know their argument with whom, we want you to do the same.  In the process, God brought in experts from the university.

Rabiu Rikadawa (Baba Dan Audu)

For example, Professor Abdullahi Uba Adamu, former President of NOUN University.  He always gave us advice.  However, he acknowledged that there was an opportunity for him to study film and earn a degree at BUK.  But how many of our current children have gone and learned the trade?  They just want to have a master and fall down and be cast in a movie.

 How to fix it?

Just seek knowledge and put education in it.  I always say that education should be included.  Ignorance does not work everywhere.
