The Federal Government Has Ordered (NCC) Telecommunication Companies To Cancel An Additional 10 Percent Of Call And Data Fees
In a statement issued by the Nigerian Telecommunications Commission (NCC), it ordered telecommunications companies to withdraw the increase in call charges to the old rates.

The Minister of Communications and Modern Economy Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, continued that the need of the federal government is to protect citizens and ensure justice for all stakeholders.
In view of the situation in the country, the commission, in a letter dated October 12, 2022, ordered the mobile phone operators to change the call and data charges they have made.
The statement said that the agency will continue to consult with all stakeholders in the industry on effective ways to protect the interests of the community and telecommunication companies.
