 Matawalle Stops APC Election Campaign In Zamfara

 Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle has suspended the APC election campaign in Zamfara State until January 18.

 Rohotanni stated that the campaign committee of the party has suspended the campaign activities of the governor to focus on peace in the state.

 "I promised to focus on restoring peace in my second term in Zamfara State," said Matawalle.

 He stated this when the party launched his election campaign in Kaura Namoda Local Government, on December 27, 2022.

 Matawalle appointed the former governor of the state, Abdulaziz Yari as the chairman of his campaign committee.

 On his part, the former governor of the state said that the security problem will improve if Matawalle wins the seat of the state for the second time.

 Yari, who led the APC campaign committee to the party's campaign, said he would support Matawalle's candidacy one hundred percent.
