Sinach is a senior worship leader at Believers Lovedworld and a singer-songwriter from Nigeria. It is very challenging to discuss gospel music in Africa without bringing up Her name, but how did it begin? Sinach, the second daughter of a brood of 7, was born on March 30th, 1973. She was born in Nigeria, specifically in the state of Ebony.

In France, she began singing as a hobby for family members in 1989. She was also a choir member and staff member at Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's church at the time, Christ embassy. Those experiences played a crucial role in shaping her into the singer she is today. Sinach claimed that as a young girl, she dreamed of performing in front of huge crowds. But she didn't actively pursue a music career.

After graduating from the University of Port Harcourt with a degree in physics, Sinach was eager to leave the country. But her pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, decided to assist in her development because he saw great potential in her. Fortunately, He was successful in convincing her not to take that trip.

Sinach was also able to get past her father's initial opposition to her pursuing a career in music. He was worried that being a musician would not bring in any money. Thankfully, Sinatra was adamant about succeeding. She received honors up to pastor age. Chris serves as both her spiritual father and mentor. Sinach claims that she entered the gospel music industry, not for profit but rather to spread the good news of Christ and give hope to the hopeless. As it turned out, she was in good hands because Christ Embassy has since developed a number of up-and-coming singers into well-known gospel singers, including Joe Praise, Moses Bliss, and Frank Edwards, among others.

She was appointed the senior worship leader at Christ Embassy, both locally and abroad. Sinach was then frequently brought along wherever Pastor Chris went to minister in his capacity as the worship leader. She was able to gain more confidence and a fan base as a result of that experience, which greatly boosted her confidence. When Sinach was only 19 years old, she performed her first song, which inspired her to begin writing other songs.

Sinach has won numerous awards as a songwriter and has written over 200 songs. Over 50 different nations have seen Sinach perform and host concerts.

The visuals for "Waymaker" became the third Nigerian video to reach over 100 million YouTube views in March 2019. Many Christian musicians, including Michael W. Smith and Leeland, among others, have covered Waymaker. Sinach made history in September 2019 when she became the first gospel performer from Africa to headline concerts in India that drew large crowds. She topped the Bible's Christian songwriter chart in May 2020, making history as the first African artist to do so. For several months, the song was at the top of the songwriter's chart.

Outside of music, Sinach is living a successful and content life. On November 17, 2019, she wed a pastor at her church. When Pastor Chris Oyakilome announced the birth of Sinach's first child at the lima awards, Christ Embassy members and her fans around the world erupted in jubilation because they had been worried about what they perceived to be her apparent delay. Without a doubt, her life is a powerful testimony.
