Human Rights Watch has accused Iran's security forces of torturing youngsters.
The security forces in Iran have been charged by Human Rights Watch with killing, torturing, and mistreating juveniles.
Since September of last year, the American governing body has looked at 11 cases.
The study's findings showed how underage children were detained, tried in a court for adults, and ultimately condemned to 10 years in prison.
Human Rights Watch reported that after a child was tortured by having needles injected under his fingernails, a girl was put on a gas stove.
The group urged that the UN take these major crimes into account as part of its inquiry, which was started in November of the previous year.
