NNPCL has spent more than a billion dollars on putting in the gas pipeline – Kyari
The gas pipeline from Ajaokuta to Kaduna to Kano was built at a cost of approximately $1.1 billion, according to the Nigerian oil corporation NNPCL.
According to the NAN news agency, the company's CEO, Malam Mele Kyari, revealed this to the media while the project was being inspected in Kogi state.
According to Kyari, the business will continue to contribute money to these projects, which it is implementing gradually.
Despite being in charge of project management, he continued, NNPCL is making an effort.
"NNPCL has already spent more than 1.1 billion dollars on the project, and fortunately, we haven't yet lost any projects," the company stated.
