Former Federal Member of Parliament, Ibrahim IMBA has switched to APC
From 2015 to 2019, MBA was a member of the Federal House of Representatives for the Katagum Constituency.
When he met with reporters to talk about why he had returned to the APC, Ibrahim Baba IMBA said that he and his friends had come back to build the party and bring it back to life. He also said that they would reform the party with all the steps they were taking.
He said, "My main reason is that the party has come back to its senses and we want to rebuild it." Like in 2015, many people in Bauchi state were angry. Some of us left, some of us came back, and some of us still haven't come back, and some of them are still in the jam.
Because of this, we said, "Let's go back so the system can be fixed."
He said that they know that the people of Bauchi state will still be thinking about the APC party until tomorrow. He said, "Our return will help them solve their problems, especially the conflict in this house." If we could sit down and find those who were affected by the incident, since we were out, but we know the pain that made us go out, so with God's help, we will find stakeholders to come and make sure they are seated so that the party wins again in the future and the community can enjoy the success that has been achieved.
He said that nothing can't be solved by talking about it, so he said that the APC's internal conflict will be solved soon. "Every time people sit down and say what they think is wrong, it's okay to do it with those who think it's not okay to do it. This way, many problems will be solved," he said.
IMBA also said in court that he had to talk to his friends and other important people before taking this step. They agreed with him and followed him back to the APC.
"I talked to my supporters before we took this step, and since we switched to that party until we ran for office, many of my supporters didn't come out and join that party. Instead, they went to the polls and voted for us, which everyone saw, especially in my local government of Katagum. Because of this, we need to listen to them and take care of those who need us to have political ties with them.
Adamu Abubakar, who is the head of the APC in the Nasarawa Bakin Kasuwa district of the Katagum local government, said that the party is glad to have IMBA back and that the party is glad to have such a person. take note of the effect it has on politics.
He also promised that, as a well-known person, he would help the party grow and become more united, and he pleaded with him to go back to his original party.
