Stop constructing on public lands and schools, says Abba Gida-Gida
His Excellency Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the next governor of Kano State, offered the following advice to people and groups that keep constructing on public property:
The public is first asked to put a stop to all construction on state-owned property, including all public schools, all state-owned houses of worship, hospitals, cemeteries, and the whole city of Kano.
This choice was made by the incoming governor on Thursday through his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa.
If you recall, Senator Rabi'u Kwankwaso, the party's leader, was heard promising to demolish locations that the current state administration led by Governor Ganduje had denounced during the governorship election campaign before the Kano election.
