Apostle Suleman slams Keyamo for his words about how to regulate social media
Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has responded to Minister of State for Labour and Employment Barrister Festus Keyamo's call for control of social media.
On Monday, the minister said that rules need to be made to control and clean up how people use social media in the country.
Keyamo says that for this to happen, the country must first stop the spread of fake news, which he says can tear the country apart. To do this, he says, fake social media accounts must first be shut down.
Apostle Suleman responded to the news by calling Keyamo the author of fake news on Twitter. He also said that the minister only wants social media to be controlled because he gets attacked on it.
"One of the people who write fake news and pretends to be a lawyer wants social media to be controlled because he gets picked on all the time. (Gal 6.7). 2017 he worked with a woman from Canada that I've never met.
"He filed a stupid lawsuit online and had it copied by more than 200 blogs. I woke up to find a suit online that I thought was made for me.
"Mr. Lawyer, what did you call that rumor you spread about a man to ruin his reputation? you know all you did. You were then made a SAN for a job well done. "What you did to me and others will haunt you for the rest of your life and the lives of your children and grandchildren." Leave social media alone, it's fine as it is and doesn't need any rules."
