Bio is leading in the Sierra Leone presidential election

Julius Maada Bio is in the lead according to the preliminary results of the presidential election in Sierra Leone, which included votes from 60% of the voting places.

He received 56% of the total votes cast, according to the National Electoral Commission, while Samura Kamara of the All Peoples Congress (APC) received 42%.
