Jet fuel and gas prices have fall down in Nigeria

The price of jet fuel, commonly known as Jet A1, has come down shortly after the removal of the fuel subsidy that made the option soar.

According to reports, from over 800 naira, the price of jet fuel has dropped to 650 naira in Lagos and 680 naira in Abuja from June 1 while it is slightly higher in Kano, Maiduguri and Fatakwal.

This is the case with cooking gas weighing 12.5 kilograms whose price has dropped from about 14 thousand Naira to 6 thousand 950 Naira in Lagos and about 8 thousand Naira in other states as seen yesterday.

The research done in different places yesterday showed that the gas is being sold for 700 to 800 Naira per kilogram compared to 1 thousand Naira in previous weeks.
