Morocco sent its ambassador to Sweden home after the Koran-burning campaign

Following a protest to burn the Al-Quran in the Swedish city of Stockholm, Morocco summoned its ambassador there.

When the Muslim world is commemorating the Great Sallah, the rally was deemed offensive and unreasonable by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Investigations are currently being conducted into the movement's founder, Salwan Momik, who is of Iraqi descent.

He is charged with attempting to sow division and hatred.

In Sweden, a court upheld the right to demonstrate in support of free expression.
