The British plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda is against the law

The British government lost the court battle over whether or not it could send asylum seekers to Rwanda.

A British Court of Appeal ruled against the UK's programme, siding instead with refugees who entered the country by boat and a nonprofit that aids asylum seekers. It isn't.

According to two of the three judges, Rwanda does not meet the requirements for admitting such immigrants.

The Supreme Court may hear a challenge to the ruling from the British government.
