Page Six has learned exclusively that Nicolle Wallace and Michael S. Schmidt got married over the weekend. The news was first reported here on Page Six.
According to Page Six, an MSNBC spokesperson verified the news that the MSNBC host and Schmidt tied the knot on Saturday in a private ceremony attended only by their immediate families.

The host of "Deadline: White House" went back to work on Monday with a wedding ring on the left hand of her dominant hand.
In March of 2019, Page Six was the first to report that Wallace, 50, and the New York Times reporter, 38, had started a romantic relationship. They became acquainted with one another while working together on the set of her show, on which he frequently appears as a guest and pundit.
The journalist who won the Pulitzer Prize was seen with Wallace so regularly at the time that the two of them decided to reveal their relationship to the executives of the network, who were cool with it rather soon. When "Morning Joe" co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough began a romantic relationship, the executives who run the network were sympathetic and supportive of the situation.

Prior to their divorce in 2019, she was married to Mark Wallace, a lawyer who had been selected by George W. Bush to serve as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations. Their marriage lasted from 2005 until 2019. The former couple had been living apart for at least a year prior to the filing of the divorce petition, according to friends who spoke to Page Six at the time.
They have a child together whose name is Liam Wallace.
