The wealthiest man in Africa has admitted that despite several of his staff having vacation homes abroad, he does not own any properties there.

The billionaire also offered some advice on how to succeed personally in the world of business.

Dangote stated, "Many people, including the small ones, we should be careful because it is one of the major issues," in a press interview that was recently posted on the Instagram page of the Tonyelumelu charity. We should be mindful of our expenditures as Africans.

"Once a business is started and begins to succeed, instead of continuing to invest in the business, you start spending money in the hope that profits will keep coming in. You must be very concentrated in business because there are many competing priorities.

The CEO continued by saying that splurging on luxuries might make financial calculations more difficult.

Dangote gave a personal example, saying, "Luxuries - they also eat up your time and won't make you concentrate on your business. I mean, I don't have a house or anything, but I know that my employees do; they live in London. But I'm unable to.
