ALU Patoranking Scholarship Program for African Undergraduates 2024
Change-makers and outstanding leaders can emerge from anywhere. Financial limitations shouldn't prohibit the next big African disruptor from acquiring the resources, networks, and know-how necessary to realize their innovations.
This is the reason why the African Leadership University and the award-winning Nigerian dancehall performer Patoranking collaborated to establish the ALU Patoranking Scholarship. Patoranking wants to assist unleash more entrepreneurial entrepreneurs who will bring great change to their countries and the continent after overcoming financial difficulty in his own journey of influence.
About African Leadership University
A network of post-secondary universities known as African Leadership University, or ALU, has operations in both Mauritius and Rwanda. Over the next 50 years, their goal is to construct 25 campuses around the continent and produce 3 million young African leaders. The African Leadership College, ALU's first campus, opened its doors in September 2015 in Mauritius. In Rwanda's capital city of Kigali, its second campus opened in September 2017. ALU plans to construct 25 campuses in significant African cities, each housing about 10,000 students.
Aim and Benefits of ALU Patoranking Undergraduate Scholarship
Starting in September 2020, the ALU Patoranking Scholarship will pay all tuition costs and living expenses for the chosen recipients to attend ALU, choosing between its campuses in Mauritius or Rwanda.
The following benefits are offered to selected candidates by the Scholarship:
1. 100% Tuition Fee Waiver, which covers tuition, housing, and all study-related expenditures for the duration of the undergraduate program at the African Leadership University campuses in Rwanda and Mauritius.
2. A yearly stipend for living expenses during the undergraduate program
3. Relocation grant for candidates residing outside of Rwanda and Mauritius to cover inbound travel and removal costs for one-way travel.
Qualifications for the ALU Patoranking Undergraduate Scholarship
You must apply for and be accepted into one of ALU's undergraduate programs in order to be eligible for the Patoranking Scholarship.
