China's GDP Increases 5.5% In The First Half Of This Year

China's National Bureau of Statistics announced today, Monday, that the country's GDP will grow by 5.5 percent in the first half of 2023.

According to NBS data, China's GDP hit 59.3 trillion yuan, or 8.3 trillion US dollars, in the first half of the year. The second quarter saw a 6.3 percent increase in GDP.
