Police Will Investigate The Allegation Of Abuse Of Zamfara State APC Leader

The Zamfara State Police Force has established a committee to look into how certain police officers took Alhaji Tukur Danfulani's car and detained his driver. Danfulani is the state's APC chairman.

In Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, the force's public relations officer, ASP Yazid Abubakar, made this declaration.

He claims that although the force is unaware of the situation, it will continue to thoroughly investigate the accused.

"While we are not aware of any reports of this nature, Muhammad Bunu, the commissioner of police, has urged all parties to participate in an investigation.

The police detained the driver for many hours in response to a statement made by the state APC press secretary, Yusuf Idris, on Sunday, in which he claimed that several police officers stationed at the Gusau government house had insulted the driver.
