Governor Zulum distributed food aid to 13,000 households in Gwoza

Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the governor of Borno state, oversaw the distribution of food supplies to 13,000 homes in the town of Gwoza that were impacted by the Boko Haram attack.

At the entrance to the palace of His Highness Shehu Idrissa Timta, the King of Gwoza, food aid was dispersed.

On Saturday, Governor Zulum arrived in Gwoza, where he unexpectedly paid a late-night visit to the town's primary hospital.

Every one of the 13,000 homes received a bag of rice and corn as part of the distribution of relief to the needy that was launched on Sunday under Zulum's leadership.

Barkindo Mohammed Saidu, the Director General of SEMA, who was with Governor Zulum, oversaw the distribution of the gifts to the recipients.
