I don't need a title of any kind--Bavarian

Dr. Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, a former governor of the state of Sokoto, stated that he is not currently looking for a job.

Bafarawa stated in his interview with the BBC that any king who arrives now will place himself between himself and God, not because of anything he will receive but rather the position.

"After finishing well, there's nothing I want anymore."

The interview follows the 1999 ex-governors group's visit, which included Africans who were President Bola Tinubu's contemporaries when he was the governor of Lagos state, among those who recently visited him.

Ibrahim Isa spoke with the former governor of Sokoto state this week on their visit and a few topics pertaining to Nigerian politics and Sokoto state.
