Tinubu Meets With Shell Petroleum Company Delegation

At the Aso Rock Auditorium in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu hosted a delegation from the Shell Petroleum Development Company.

Peter Costello, Osagie Okunbo, and Mar De Jong are members of the Shell team on a courtesy call with the company's director, Mrs. Zoe Yunovic.

The meeting was also attended by Mele Kyari, the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff for the Presidential Palace.

Olu Verheijen, the president's special adviser on energy, Zacchaeus Adedeji, the president's special adviser on revenue, and Dele Alake, the president's adviser on communications, special operations, and strategy, were all present.

After holding the Salah celebrations in Lagos the previous week, Tinubu returned to Abuja on Sunday, which was followed by the meeting on Monday.

After taking office as Nigeria's new president on May 29, 2023, the president took his first trip abroad on June 22, 2023.

Along with other world leaders, Tinubu travelled to Paris, France, for the meeting of the new international financial agreement held in the Palais Brongniart.

The president left Nigeria after the two-day meeting to travel to London, United Kingdom, for a brief private visit. He then came back to Nigeria to host the Sallah Babba celebrations on June 28 and 29, 2023.

In Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state, Tinubu met with Yoruba leaders during his five days in Lagos, including the chief of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, and the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
