For the past 24 hours, there have been heavy downpours in the western Indian state of Gujurat, which have led to catastrophic floods in several areas of the state.
The federal and state disaster management authorities reportedly despatched representatives to other states to assist individuals in need, according to the national media.
The state is one of India's flood-prone regions.
According to officials, the flood in the southern part of the state was to blame for several structures collapsing and several people drowning.
Many people lost their homes as a result of the storm, and Kutch Gandhidham Railway Station was also submerged.
Additionally, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Valsad, Navsari, Mehsana, and Surat saw significant flooding.
According to the National Emergency Management Agency, torrential rains fell in the state's Junagadh area from Friday morning through Saturday morning.
The same is true for the districts of Khergam, Jamnagar, Kaprada, and Anjar in Kutch.
