Riot: Some suspected Boko Haram members have been arrested trying to attack Atiku's house and other places in Yola

On Monday, according to the office of the opposition leader, the suspects were turned over to the military.

We are alerting the people of Nigeria that on July 23, 2023, around 9:44 p.m., a guy who was attempting to protect His Highness Atiku Abubakar's home in Yola was detained at the door.

The security personnel turned over the individual who had been taken into custody. He was still being questioned by the police. The suspect identified himself as 29-year-old Jubrila Mohammed and acknowledged that he is a Boko Haram member from Damboa in Borno state.

The suspect further told the police that he and his accomplices, who were also detained, planned to assault locations in Yola that were significant to Atiku Abubakar and other organisations.
