The Nigerian Army has launched a plan to stop the killings in Plateau State

The 4th Tiger's Teeth, a special unit created by the Nigerian Army to put an end to the killings in Plateau State, has been put into action.

To put an end to the attacks and massacres that have been occurring in Mangu and other areas of the state without cause, Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, established a new command on Saturday.

Over 300 individuals have died in the past two months as a result of various bandit attacks during the ongoing war in the area of the Mangu local government and its surroundings.

The leader of the Nigerian army also conducted a private meeting with local government representatives at a primary school in the town after launching the new army in Hakorin Damisa.
