The Nigerian Army has launched a plan to stop the killings in Plateau State

The 4th Tiger's Teeth, a special unit of the Nigerian Army, has been established to put an end to the killings in Plateau State.

In order to put an end to the random attacks and atrocities in Mangu and other parts of the state, Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, established a new command on Saturday.

In the past two months, the ongoing unrest in the area has resulted in the deaths of over 300 individuals in the Mangu local government and its surroundings as a result of various bandit attacks.

The commander of the Nigerian Army also met in private with representatives of the local government in a primary school in the city following the creation of the new Damisa Army.
