Tinubu meets with Anyim and Olisa Metuh, two past heads of the PDP, in Aso Rock.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is meeting with Olisa Metuh, a former senate president and former spokeswoman for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. They are talking with Anyim Pius Anyim, a former senate president and former spokesman for the PDP.
Metuh, who used to be the PDP's national publicity secretary, and Anyim both got there around 1:30 pm and went straight to the President's office.
Metuh recently said that he was going to stop being involved in politics and was leaving the PDP.

The meeting is happening at the same time that President Tinubu is about to give the Senate a list of cabinet nominees to check out.
During the time that Goodluck Jonathan was president, Anyim was the SGF to the president. He was also running for president on the PDP ticket.
