Tinubu Meets with Service Chiefs for the First Time
At the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is having his first meeting with the new service leaders and the acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
At the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is having his first meeting with the new service leaders and the acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
The meeting takes place on June 19, 2023, two weeks after the President gave his approval to their new jobs.
Malam Nuhu Ribadu, who was also named on the same day as the security chiefs and acting IGP, was the National Security Adviser (NSA). He led the security chiefs and acting IGP to the meeting.
Chief of Defence Staff Major General Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Naval Staff Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and Acting IGP Kayode Egbetokun are all there.
