France has started to evacuate its people in Niger
The French government has started evacuating its citizens from the Republic of Niger as a result of the threat to its assets after the coup d'état by the country's army.
The reports indicate that the first flight carrying 260 Europeans landed in Paris from Niamey, while Italy announced that about 87 people landed in Rome. Right now, France has sent about three planes to the city of Niamey, to evacuate the citizens of France, Portugal, Belgium, Ethiopia and Lebanon following the overthrow of the government of Mohamed Bazoum.
Already, the Ministry of Defense of Spain is planning to bring more than 70 people from the Western city. Many European countries have announced plans to evacuate their people from the country under military rule now.
