More than 24 thousand people are missing in northern Nigeria - ICRC
The Red Cross aid agency said that more than 24,000 people have disappeared in Nigeria, mostly in the north-eastern region of the country, as a result of the conflicts they are suffering from.
The agency said Nigeria has more than 40 percent of the missing people in Africa.
Like in other parts of the world, many Nigerians have disappeared due to conflict and disasters and migration to new places.
Many of them have not returned to their hometowns for many years, and their families are always looking for them.
The agency added that it is aware of the families of those who have disappeared, and will continue to try to give them the answers they need.
