Parliament continues to identify ministers
Today Talala, the Senate of Nigeria continues to evaluate the people that President Tinubu sent to it to seek its approval before appointing them as ministers in his government.
The council started this work on Monday, where it identified 14 people in the first phase, while on Tuesday it is expected to identify the full 14 people.
President Tinubu should have sent the names of 28 people to the parliament, where it is expected that he will send more names but so far there is no report that he has sent them.
In Tuesday's session, the House started by vetting the former governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, who is now the senator representing Ebonyi South Constituency in the Senate.
The council ordered him to salute and pass, as it does to other members of the council.
