Parliament took time to evaluate Wale Edun

The Senate of Nigeria has nominated Wale Edun from Ogun state.

Wale Edun is a former banker and finance commissioner of Lagos state when President Tinubu was governor, between 1999 and 2007.

During the assessment, the senators representing his Ogun state announced their support for him as a minister and insisted that he deserves to hold the position.

Wale Edun answered questions related to the management of the economy, especially the tax collection strategy and the distribution of national wealth and the production of electricity.

He spent a long time answering questions from members of the parliament, before later its leader Godswill Akpabio ordered him to say hello and leave.
