The APC party in Nigeria will announce a new leader
President Bola Ahmed Tiinubu and other leaders of the APC party are attending the 12th National Executive Council meeting of the party.
The meeting started at about 12:20 after the arrival of the President, at the meeting room of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Since the morning, members of the party's executive committee started entering the meeting room, including the acting national chairman of the party, Senator Abubakar Kyari.
The meeting drew attention, especially as it is predicted that the new leaders of the party will be appointed, where the former governor of Kano, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, is leading among those who can take the reins.
The meeting will focus on five issues including the establishment of auditors and the filling of vacant positions, as well as other issues related to the party.
The Acting National Chairman of the party, Senator Abubakar Kyari is among the people whom President Tinubu has asked for the approval of the parliament to appoint them as ministers.
