The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the killing of 12 people in Kajuru
Gunmen have killed at least 12 people and burnt about 20 houses in some villages in Kaduna state of Nigeria.
The incident happened on Sunday in Gindin Dutse Makeli village in Kajuru local government.
The attack came a few days after the bandits killed six people and kidnapped 60 others in the villages of Kwassam and Sabon Layi, Kauru local government.
In his conversation with the BBC, the acting commissioner for security and internal affairs of the state, Samuel Aruwan, said that the security forces are now doing their best to control the situation.
Aruwan said that the situation did not please the state government and they have already sent their condolences to the families of the victims.
However, the commissioner stated that there is no information on whether the attackers of Gindin Dutse village kidnapped some of the people.
